Do you know any of these people on this list?

Yes. My friend’s mom is Vaughn and she’s a kick-ass Professor. Every Kim I know is a direct, confident sort. Ditto with Eve.

Did you have a point?

I do. I thought we might have mutual friends. I know an Eve and Ivy (same family) and they are both beyond badass.

What the actual hades? Is that a Kre8ive spelling of something?

OP wanted a strong name, which I think should come with strong spelling. If you really want a name like this spelled correctly (whatever THAT means), then we wouldn't use Latin letters. Most of the names here are so passive sounding and looking (e.g. Anne????, Jane, Eve). To each their own.

NP. Do you get that Anne Boleyn was a badass bitch who directly help to bring Protestantism to England and much of Europe? She was a rare woman who held a the royal title of a man--Marquess of Pembroke--and owned property in her own right. Yes, she went down, but she went down swinging and her daughter, Elizabeth, held the crown against all odds.

Do you get that Jane is the name of one of the first successful female authors in Europe, Jane Austen?

Eve is the freaking mother of civilization in the Christian tradition. And also a hell of a rapper/singer/entertainer. Respect.

Yep, but today those names are for sweet, little girls, and recall the fragile female. BTW one of those names is mine.

No, Eve Adams (modern) is a Canadian businesswoman and former politician. Eve the rapper is a strong, modern woman.

Anne Hathaway is an Oscar winner. Anna Quinlan is a successful author. Anne Frank inspired generations of people to be strong.

Jane Goodall, for crying out loud. Nothing "fragile" about her. Or Jane Fonda, Jane Krakowski or Jane Lynch.

These are strong people. Doesn't mean their names are strong. Besides, probably isn't using those women as namesakes.

You're just arbitrarily saying those names are "fragile," despite evidence to the contrary. It's just laughable.

Claire is a fat girl’s name - Freddy Bender, The Breakfast Club

Sorry, couldn’t resist. I actually love the name but it’s the first thing I think of.
