However, in the meantime, Trump and his minions are making significant inroads in judicial appointments that will negatively affect the lives of my children, long after I am gone.
So I just have to ask again why this is taking so long? I am a not a lawyer, so please don't flame me. Moreover, if Trump/Pence and others are potentially removed from office at some point, do these judicial appointments still stand? If the election of this administration was achieved through treasonous acts, will the actions of this administration be allowed to stand?
These are serious questions I have. I honestly want to know what is taking so long and what recourse do Americans have if our president has committed treason?
His judicial appointments can be impeached, I believe. And should be.

A wonderfully fitting comparison. Both were once hailed as the King of New York. One king is dead and the other is about to go from the frying pan into the fire. People in Bensonhurst lauded Gotti along time ago because he provided free illegal fireworks on July 4th to the delight of the neighbors. The possibility that he may have murdered people before and while acting as the boss of the NY mafia was a secondary consideration. Kind of like the people who post that they don't care about collusion or secret payments to porn stars or total lack of moral character as long as the stock market is doing well.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:The obstruction angle begins to make a lot more sense from Mueller's point of view. Let's say he presents an airtight obstruction case against the PoTUS. He will then be able to observe the reaction by the GOP.
Who does what?
Do members try to make moves to cover their tracks and in the process commit more crimes?
Who is actually trustworthy as a witness, vs. who is loyal to Trump?
I think he purposely holds back on Russia in the near term. If the GOP is serious about rule of law, they will begin impeachment proceedings. If not, Mueller then comes down with the big hammers - treason, money laundering, cyber crimes, campaign finance violations, etc to a wide variety of those in Trump's inner circle and Congress.
Remember John Gotti, who headed the Gambino crime family, who was famously known as the "Teflon Don" because every other prosecutor, every other law enforcement agency simply could not get enough on him, simply could not make any charge stick?
Well, it was Bob Mueller who nailed Gotti. And, it wasn't just small potatoes minor charges. He had Gotti put away for life. He worked his way deep into Gotti's inner circle, and turned guys like Sammy "The Bull" Gravano to take Gotti down.
This ain't Mueller's first dance, he's been doing this for a very long time and is very good at what he does. And guys like Sessions and Nunes and Trump are rank amateurs, or perhaps more accurately, circus sideshow clowns where it comes to dealing with Mueller.
