Timing - the women talked when WaPo came and approached them. WaPo says as much. Why would they have bothered looking around before he won the primary? You think they do for every extremist judge?

The WaPo, like any for-profit company, has finite resources. They will investigate a story like this when the stakes are at the highest point. Once Moore won the primary, they began seriously looking at this story. It takes a few months to get the story together and approved.

Whether it is true or not, a story from the WAPO does not carry any credibility in Alabama.
