I love when posts like this show up, because it provides insight to me as to how we end up with all these posts on dcum from guys who are sugar daddies, use prostitutes, relationships with no sex, relationships where people aren't friends, and other totally dysfunctional arrangements. I don't know anyone in life who operates like this, but apparently they exist -- and i can guess how they evolve based on the OP's questions.

You should shift your focus to the quality of their companionship. How easily does conversation flow? Do you genuinely make each other laugh? Figure out if you enjoy each other's company in a variety of situations, whether it's the fun stuff or the potentially boring stuff, like visits with family, evenings of chores after a long day of work, illness. Travel internationally together - that's a great test to see if a person is rigid or gets pouty when things don't go according to plan. I realize it's too early do to some of these things, but that's a great argument for taking it slow and seeing how things unfold naturally.

Do you have a similar outlook on social engagements? Is one of you more of a homebody? Is one of you enmeshed in a tight social group? If so, are you willing to be all-in on that, or will you both be generally cool with skipping some social events?
