I believe this to be true as well. Up until recently I always thought an intruder killed job benet but after watching all the new shows about the case I now believe it was probably the brother. I think he killed her with a flashlight over a piece of pineapple.
Who staged the cover up then? That could not have been the brother.
The parents. I feel so sorry for the dad. They seemed like great parents.
According to the autopsy and ADA, the force that JBR was hit with was enough to take down a 350 pound man...and that it is highly a 9-year-old would have the strength to carry that out.
+1 that, and these were highly educated, affluent people. Surely they'd have known that no 9-year-old - especially one without any history of behavior problems, violence, etc. - would be convicted or even tried for an accidental death. Right?
I would have thought that Burke would have been way too young to inflict an injury like that. He was not just young but also very light for his age. However, Dr Werner Spitz said in a t.v. documentary on the case that a child could have inflicted the fatal blow to Jon Benet's head. I still have a hard time believing that but if a medical examiner says it's possible that a kid did it I guess it's possible that a kid could have done it. I can't argue with a doctor on that.
But who strangled her? Who wrote that note? Who sexually assaulted her? Even if Burke clobbered his sister in a fit of anger and the parents walked in to see her badly injured....would their first response be to stage an elaborate strangulation and sexual assault scene? I just can not fathom a parent doing that. Patsy and John loved that little girl.
At the same time, the intruder theory makes zero sense because of that ransom note written (and rewritten) on a pad of paper inside the home. Also John wanting to get on an airplane ASAP while his daughter was missing made little sense to me.
