What people don't like is the overwhelming immigration when there're are not enough jobs Is that so hard for educated elites in Bethesda to understand????

Many of the educated elite types have secure federal jobs, and they simply don't care about the people you mentioned. Truth be told, if Hillary had cared as much about that demographic as much as other groups who were spotlighted at the convention, she would have reached out for their votes--a fact that Joe Biden mentioned as well.

I used to agree with this conclusion. Attitudes of many of these people since then have convinced me she was right.

If you're the type to think helping one particular group automatically means you lose something, there's no point even starting a conversation with you.

More salient, if being deplorable is a source of pride, who needs you? You should absolutely be free to find out what that gets you.

Not that I know of ...... all we have are pathetic marches with women dressing up as vaginas - white vaginas of course!

Groan. The idiot poster fixated on "dressed as vaginas" again. You know you sound like an idiot every time you say that, right? If not, you do now.

Don't worry sweetie you can recycle your white vagina costume for Halloween. And pink pussy hats. Very popular in upper northwest Bethesda and Arlington

How long has it been? Nine months since the Women's March and you're still talking about it. Sounds like it was VERY EFFECTIVE. Nice work, ladies.

Well, for starters, you don't call anyone who disagrees with you "deplorable".

Oh, please - that is the one thing Hillary was 100% correct about. If you can't see that the trump administration is truly deplorable than you are beyond hope.

OK, so that's why you lost. So stop crying about it. It felt good to you when she said it and you got exactly what you deserved: a slaughter.

3 million votes

3 million votes will get you hikes in Chappaqua and the opportunity to whine about how you lost because of Putin and Comey!

Then shame on our democratic process. Because that's crap. And stuff it with all the soul searching about "why did Hillary lose?" She lost by 80,000 votes in the EC - that's how.

She lost because a bunch of whimpy white guys who can't change with the times voted against their own best interests and bought the con that Donald Trump was selling them - that he'd somehow bring them gold and riches and their coal mining jobs back. That's why she lost. She lost because 80,000 voters couldn't see past a flawed woman and instead embraced a man with a solid track record of bigotry, misogyny, and corruption. That's why she lost. Clinton wasn't perfect. But in this case 80,000 Americans didn't like "imperfect woman" and instead voted for deeply incompetent bigot.

Bite off your nose to spite your face and you deserve what you get. How are those tax cuts working for you middle and working class America? What about that "bigger and better healthcare?" How about all that spending on infrastruture and those coal mining jobs?

You do realize that Trump would not have won without the minority votes he got in NC, WI, PA, MI, etc. right?

If you can’t figure out that the popular vote means absolutely n o t h i n g then you don’t deserve to be President.

If you are white and US-born, your perception of "the good old days" is likely different to those of actual immigrants living there at that time. The entire history of the US is filled with waves of immigrants being discriminated against for at least a generation or two.

And I challenge your assertion about jobs right now. The US is currently seeing historic unemployment rates. The problem is that most jobs are menial and don't pay well. Sure, immigration is a factor in keeping wages low, but it's not the only one. Large corporate employers are greedy, and smaller employers have artificial constraints on how much they can pay because the bulk of earnings goes to a select few so even with a humming economy most people can't afford to pay a lot more for goods and services than they are currently paying. Find a way to address wage stagnation and corporate greed, and things will turn around. And here's a hint, President Trump is not going to be the one to address those things.

Yes, because had Hillary Clinton not called the "basket of deplorables" you would have voted for her.

Please... you are so tiresome and whiny.

Are you contending that the deplorables comment was a wise move?

DP. Truth hurts, eh?

Trump hired tons of foreign labor for his resorts while stiffing American workers for those jobs.

Hey mr Z. Do you think h2b guest workers are bad for US? I don't understand your point

Oh, I see. What Trump does with foreign workers is good for the US but what anyone else does with foreign workers is condeming America to hell. Got it.
