Generally covered in glue and bits of paper.

I've been involved in travel soccer for well over 10 years and occasionally there will be a coach who does a little "parents, simmer down" type of soft reprimand, but that's it. The code of conduct is clear. But it's not worth anything if it's not enforced. We had a player leave our team/club in the past b/c of sideline behavior of a parent on the same team. And a very similar thing happened to another one of my children's teams a few years ago. It's totally unacceptable. The CLUB should be enforcing the "no coaching from the sidelines" or "no yelling at the ref", or whatever is in their code.

Pointing out that he is yelling in Spanish only serves one purpose.
Right... pointing out that he is yelling in Spanish.
Pointing out that he is yelling would have sufficed. No need to detail his language or question whether he actually went to college. None of that matters aside from painting a picture of an uneducated Hispanic man.
These microagressions / triggers are why Trump won the White House. Stop labeling everything racist, the vast majority of people don't agree with the narrative, and only pushes the moderates further from the Center - and I'm a Democrat.
Here is the thing, racist or not it wasn't pertinent to the issue. But, the OP added it for a reason, why? The language spoken had no bearing on the appropriateness of the parent's actions. By saying that the parent was "screaming in English/Spanish" HE conflated the issue. Why did he bother to even mention it? And then followed up with the "he doesn't look like he went to college" comment, he attempted to paint a very derogatory picture of the father beyond just his sideline behavior.
Here is the thing, you're psychotic and your fixation on race is annoying everyone else. Go away.
And yet nobody has yet to provide a rationalization for why the two comments NEEDED to be made. If your only argument is "I'm being annoying" to bad if your little feelings are hurt or annoyed. Make a better argument for why it is material to point out the father was screaming in English/Spanish and that he did not look like her went to college.
