+1 I went to a nutrition class that taught me that the appropriate serving of pizza for an adult is 1/3 of a slice. People eat too much pizza.
A blanket rule lime this doesn't really make sense. Not only do adults' dietary needs vary quite a bit due to diffences in age, sex, height, activity level, etc., the nutritional value of a slice of pizza (or a third of a slice of pizza...) varies quite a bit, as well. A slice of pizza that is 1/8 of a 16 inch deep dish pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, for instance, will have a lot more calories (& , most likely, saturated fat) than a slice of pizza that is 1/8 of a 12-inch thin crust margarita pizza.

Literal LOL
I've never heard of the green beans poster...but I can bet you she's not fat!
At least it's not the "chicken marbella" poster.

Well now that's just ridiculous! My debate with myself when eating a frozen pizza is whether I should eat a third of it at one sitting, or half. Dilemma! Thankfully I don't eat pizza much.
One third of a slice..
One third of a slice..
One third of a slice..
I hope that was just a typo,and you meant 1/3 of a pizza,because
That's way too small.

I like to order enough to have two meals, because it's so good for lunch the next day. So my little family of 2 gets one pizza, we each get 4 slices total and we're happy.
Yes. Especially with eating a salad in addition.
Same here. Sometimes I'll go for two, or for the kid's crust, but one is really enough for an evening meal! No disorder here. Just don't need as many calories these days.
No it's not. You are finishing dinner hungry. Which is fine I guess, but be honest with yourself.
Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:People weren't such pigs back in the day. You could have a slice of pizza for dinner and be fine. Nowadays, it's multiple slices of greasy pizza, breadsticks and a 16+oz soda. This is why most Americans are overweight.
This 100%
Even when we order pizza at work, some coworkers act like they've never had pizza. It's disgusting watching someone inhale 3 slices then go back for more.

My family of 4 just destroyed these two large pizzas and we are not fat. DH and I just did a teiathlon 2 weeks ago.
Did you make sure to have a side of steamed green beans with those pizzas?
Definitly not. If I had wanted to cook something, i would have skipped ordering pizza and it certainly wouldn't have been green beans.
NP here. Steamed green beans are for hospitals. Add butter or soy sauce or coconut flakes.
Thanks, but I'll pass and leave you to have soy sauce green beans and pizza night all for yourself.
