PP here, and yes, of course. But what in the immediate. Who is watching out for the US and our our laws and sovereignty who has any power to do anything? It's insane that the GOP is letting this happen on their watch. Isn't this the party of "American values" and "America First"? What is less American than allowing a foreign government to meddle in our elections and to actually solicit that interference and comply with it?

There are a long list of crimes that the campaign would be responsible for, or would be charged with. Even Trump's tweets and statements regarding the 30,000 emails would be considered part of the collusion, so yes, he is directly implicated in this.

Assuming they colluded (which it looks like) what crimes could they be charged with, if any? Even if Trump can't be charged, certainly his son and Manafort could face charges, right?

The only evidence that it "didn't work out that way" is Uday's word for it. If it had worked out, I doubt he would tell us. In my opinion, whether or not it worked out that way remains to be seen.

I don't think that he can even use that as a defense. The FBI sets up stings all the time where terrorists are promised a bomb. They show up and instead they get handcuffs. The bigger issue is whether the intent can be proven.

Trump is doing a great job gaslighting with the tweets about the DNC servers, in conjunction with Eric hinting that the Russians had information about the DNC contacting them. Ugh.

Note at 1:09 PM on June 9, 2016, Trump tweeted a reprise of asking for the 33,000 emails to Russia. This would have been right around the meeting in question. Coincidence?
