Yes! Why don't they have those anymore? Or the red-dyed pistachios? You'd get a little bag of those, and then go with your mom to write a check for the groceries


I'm a PP. I was in the grocery store yesterday and the older, not ancient though, lady in front of me paid by check. I was very surprised but I guess I shouldn't be, checks still exist.


My debit card was jacked so I will be writing checks at the store until my replacement card arrives in 2-4 business days.


Red pistachios were from Iran, so the US stopped importing them. They dyed them red to cover up splotches from the harvesting process that they used in the Middle East.
My great grandmother (born 1899) always had lemon drops and my grandfather always had a jar of jelly beans.
