But am shocked that someone would have the audacity to assume that median scores ran along gender lines (& that boys were higher). Good grief.

I think Lucy Barnsley HGC has three classes, can anyone verify?

Anonymous wrote:It looks like we have both out of boundary and in boundary children who have received letters with the higher median test scores so there must be another reason for having two sets of median scores for the same program

Is this (above) for last year?
My letter says Takoma medians were:
Raven -- 27
SCAT -- 41
RC -- 22
My daughter's letter (2017) also has the first quoted medians: 26/40/22. Maybe they have different letters/medians for the in-boundary students? We are out of boundary.
Our letter had the second quoted medians 27/41/22, and we are in-boundary.
OP of the different TPMS stats. Yes, we are in boundary too. Strange that they did separate sets if avgs & interesting the in boundary was higher. Also, Hey, neighbor!
I'm happy to hear that MCPS published separate in boundary scores and they are higher to shut down the people on this board who think the in boundary kids are not competitive with the rest of the county.
No way it's in bound score, more likely boys v. Girls

My child is a boy in-boundary--so your theory doesn't work.
