No worries. This is developmentally appropriate if obnoxious and embarrassing. Actually, kudos to those of you who recognize it for being obnoxious and embarrassing.. the ones to worry about are the parents who are also buying into the fable and don't at all think it's over the top or unwarranted

Sorry, not reading 7 pages, but as a high school teacher this is normal. He's in a developmental stage known as personal fable. Google it. It's obnoxious but he will outgrow it.

Sounds like he lacks social polish. This is a major reason why we chose private school for our boys. Boys need to be groomed. It's a pure crapshoot at a public.
