I’m sorry I really don’t understand why an attractive tall woman who towers over some men should feel insecure and intimidated.
I as a height challenged male 5’6” work in an atmosphere honestly I don’t think there’s a
woman who isn’t taller than I am either biologically, shoe choice and in most cases both
and I just deal with it. Just accept your gift.

Yes, I really like being tall and I absolutely think it helped me professionally, especially when I was younger.

I am 5'9 and LOVE IT. My daughter is on track to be taller than me and she loves being tall too. In fact she was upset this year one she wasn't the tallest in her class anymore. She's 12.

Speaking as a short woman... that is the one thing I envy about tall women. Ohhhhhhh how I would LOVE that

This is very strange. I am a guy and I don't think I've ever been intimidated by a tall person, regardless of sex. This is not a fight or an athletic competition. I don't understand why this would make someone insecure. I've never even seen anyone respond to tall women in this way.

And it says a lot about your self esteem if you seek to intimidate other people or make them insecure.

Short men that are insecure are insecure due to their arrested development not their lack of height.

No, they're insecure because of their height. And they should be. Short men are creepy. I'm not super tall (5'10") but when I was single I never dated a man that was shorter than me. It just didn't make me feel feminine. I always felt like short men were sizing me up like I was some kind of sexual treehouse to climb and explore. Creepy, creepy, creepy.

Plus (with occasional exceptions) taller men typically have more to offer in the bedroom, and I've never found myself in a situation where I was thinking "wow, I wish that was a little smaller".

You have, as they say, issues.

Oh, is that what "they" say?

Well "they" are probably short little creeps with tiny hands and feet, too.

I like 'em BIG!!!!

I can't handle too big...it hurts. I will stick with my 5'8" talented guy. We are exactly the same height so we can always kiss without bending or stretching.

You're gross. We get it. Can you please stop now?

You're frigid. We get it.

Love it and never had a problem being the tallest girl growing up. I'm 5'9 but remember being 5'3 in 5th grade, same height as my mom. Tall women can "hide" and extra 5 or 10 lbs weight gain, clothes fit better etc.

I love being tall. I am 5'8" but would have loved to be about 5'10". What I don't like is the little midget men that are always staring at me and trying to hit on me. Feel like little nats I have to swat away all the time. what is it with short men chasing after tall women.

Agreed. I also have noticed many more short men with tall women. I think to them, they are kind of desperate for those "tall genes" because of the hard life they have had being a short male. So they go after tall women in a very desperate, predatory way. I think it's sad and gross and to me it usually looks like a mother with her son, as, given average sex differences, men are usually much taller than women.

I believe height is positively associated with men and that that positive association carries over to tall women.

My husband is 3 inches shorter than I am, and he kind of gets some respect for landing a "big" fish.

Why?
