I hope he gets the recovery he needs. I can also understand what he means. I am now affected by just two drinks whereas when I was younger, I could potentially go all night. Our bodies and tolerance change.


If you know you can only tolerate 2 drinks, you don't drink the 2 right before work. That's the difference. He's still functioning as an addict even if sober. It's called a dry drunk.
