OP here- following up. Fast-forward a few months and alas, found further evidence of pot smoking (like, ashes, a lighter, and a roach on the windowsill). Regardless of the outcome, or how I feel about kids smoking dope, I was naive when I found the pipe to believe his story. Just to follow up! Have a good day -
