Ugh, OP. Your husband sounds like a jerk. Are you saying you haven't met your husband's mom, or the best friend's mom?

Will DH's ex or affair partner be at the wedding?

Something seems very off. It would have MAYBE be ok if it is a tiny wedding of 30 ppl but then they said your DH could bring your son.

+1. Especially the OP not knowing her DH's best friend. Seems very strange given he's local.


I've only seen him at a few functions he's shown up to. Usually when him and DH get together, they're having a guy's night. Like I said before DH hasn't met his fiancée.

I find it very inconsiderate to exclude the spouse of anyone on the guest list.

Your husband should feel this way as well & should ask his friend if you can go along.
It would be the right thing to do.

If his friend refuses, it would be disrespectful if he chose to go solo.
