NP here, but in my WOTR neighborhood the typical 1BR rent is less than 1000, but can be much higher in a renovated building. several minutes from two metro stops by vehicle. Not gonna say where, because I don't want DCUMMERS flooding my hood! the thing about cheap rent in dc is that you wont find them online, and they will not be new or perfect. just look for signs that say "for rent".

Also I meant 'without an egress'.

Maybe even a hot plate or two-eye stove. Oh, also possible illegal with an egress (door to the outside or window in the bedroom).
