I have huge boobs and a tiny waist. Full tuck makes me look too boobilicious. Untuck looks too sloppy. Half tuck equals perfection

So I don’t do the half tuck with the button down. But I will do a front tuck on a boxy sweater or flowy top when I want to show some of my waist.

Being petite I sort of have to. My only other option is wearing shorter shirts. But nobody wants to see my skin at the waistline. Nobody.

If I wear longer shirts it makes me look HUGE and hides my shape. Shorter shirts impossible. So I go with the medium to long shirts with a small tuck. Sometimes I do a whole tuck.

I played competitive sports — soccer and women’s hockey — and the half tuck meant that you were slightly cocky but owned your skill. Think of Wayne Gretsky.

Entirely dependent on the shirt and the pants. I generally prefer to tuck my shirts all the way in -- I think it's the best way to highlight my waist and creates a better shape for me. But I have some jeans with a "boyfriend" fit and they only look good with a half tuck. Since the waist of the jeans is lower than my true waist, tucking the whole thing in looks weird. But leaving it totally untucked just looks baggy. A partial tuck creates a nice shape that is casual without being totally shapeless.

I recently bought some chinos that I thought might fit this way and tried to do a half tuck with them and immediately realized it look idiotic. They hit right at my true waist and need to either have a full tuck or non at all. They are fitted enough that no tuck looks okay. They look best with a full tuck.

I think often people do the half tuck with clothes that don't work because it's "in" and that's why a lot of people hate it. It only looks good in specific situations.

If I am wearing jean and a tshirt I full tuck or half tuck. No tuck looks frumpalicious.

The front tuck/back untuck was bad enough. Now the trend is tucking on one side and untucking on the other and it looks absolutely ridiculous. I’m embarrassed for these girls, tbh.

That accidental tuck has been going on for 11 years, when's it going to stop? I always thought it looks like you just rushed out of the bathroom without looking and adjusting your clothing. Very sloppy and embarrassing looking.

I like a half tuck esp with a nice belt peeking out. If you have a good waistline it’s much more flattering than billowy fabric.

I’m a fan of it!
