I'm PP and I would bet you'd never guess at least one of my trans friends was trans. He's a dad with a lovely wife and two kids. Just because no one you know talks about being trans doesn't mean you don't know someone who is. And I'm sure if you saw this dad walk into a women's room, you'd wonder why!

One that was definitely transitioning to a girl. One that was probably transitioning to guy, which was a shame since she was so pretty. Not sure what the locker/bathroom situation was but the older students were fairly protective of any one that was being bullied. So I don't think it was a big issue. It never bothered me.
OT, but I do have to admit to wishing (fervently) that I was guy about once a month when I was younger.
