There is something so wrong with this. When my boy was that age his mother and I knew every square millimeter of him. We would notice the smallest bruise or scratch. The severe (healing) injuries that are described do not seem to be something that any normal parent could possibly miss or ignore. Absolutely no way. Either something is being misreported or there are more arrests coming. That poor child.
Yes, it's quite possible that this child was abused at home and died at daycare from injuries she endured from her parents. So many multiple injuries in different stages of healing, I hope the truth comes out.
You realize that people who know the parents and baby are reading this thread, right? The funeral was today. Baby was lovely and happy every time I saw her. I'm not sure there will ever be a good answer.

What I keep thinking also is kind of strange is how the baby came to the daycare by 8 a.m. and napped until about 10 or so before she choked being given the bottle around 10:30. What time must she be getting up every day to nap again at 8 a.m.? At that age, mine were napping twice a day, but usually around 11 a.m. and then again at 2:30. Given that she napped in the stroller and he attempted to feed her in the stroller, and there was blood in the stroller, I'm wondering if she was already injured when she arrived at the daycare early in the morning and was sleeping due to the hematomas, then started vomiting upon waking.
I don't think it's strange the baby napped around 8am. My 8 month old son is an early riser and usually naps about an hour to 1.5 hrs after he wakes up in the morning- around 8/8:30am. Then he'll take two more short naps during the day. Tried to get him to take longer naps only twice a day, but baby's gonna do what baby's gonna do.
Reports said this baby had bruising on her face. I would think a daycare provider would call the police upon seeing the child like that immediately- especially if there was blood on the stroller. I mean c'mon.

Maybe. How could all of these adults (parents and daycare providers) be around this baby and not notice that the child has broken bones? Something isn't adding up.
