You would have to live with black people, but then again you didn't raise that as an issue.

Supported of gay marriage and abortion rights tell you to not engage in associated activities if you don't want to but we also don't want you to interfere with the right of others to engage in these activities, so, no, you don't have the right to just violate whatever rights you feel like. This is why we have laws, OP, and you don't get to pick and choose which ones you follow. That would be self-indulgent.

You going to love Hungary. It has a 27% Value-Added Tax.

Russia has an 18% sales tax and personal income taxes totaling 43% for income and Social Security.

If you're really that ticked off then get a legal team and put a case together and take it to court saying that the Sixteenth Amendment, which grants Congress the "power to lay and collect taxes on incomes", is unconstitutional.
If that's too much trouble for you then I guess all you really DO WANT to do is exercise your First Amendment right to whine about shit you don't like which you're definitely doing - congratulations.

There is this thing called the social contract, kid. Social contract theory dates to the Age of the Enlightenment, but basically it boils down to avoiding a Hobbesian existence where life is nasty, brutish and short. Once you agree to form a community for mutual security, you create an obligation to create a social safety net. I realize that since the dawn of this country, there's been this fundamental question of which is more important: The individual or the group. But the reality is, the individual cannot reach his or her full potential without providing for the group, too.

By the way, truth is "not" relative. Truth is the opposite of moral relativism. I'm not sure where you're forming your ideas, but they're more than just boorish and immature -- they lack a fundamental understanding of the building blocks of public policy. Agree. Even if you don't support welfare and schools for altruistic reasons, which you should, it's beneficial to the economy to have an educated workforce and some wealth redistribution. Not to mention you won't be able to keep your money anyway if there was no welfare or public school Bc there would be either a massive increase in crime and/or revolution. The best thing for our economy long term would be to pay for at least 2 years of public university for everyone.
