Did you not read the thread? There's someone on here claiming no one with kids would want to live near H Street cin pointing out that my neighborhood is crawling with kids.

(PoP migrants: you give yourselves away when you preen about how awesome!! it is to be close to H Street. Nobody with actual elementary-aged children gives a flying fuck about quick and easy proximity to bars)


Um I have three kids and love to walk to H street. Great places to take the kids for lunch and lots of really great spots for date night. I love not wasting any time driving to a destination when I can quickly walk over.

Lots of people feel this way. Can we please stop talking about stuff that we don't understand?


Same here. Which is why I get annoyed by the non DC people that overrun these boards.

I went out of my way to go to Bullfrog Bagels in H today. Love Chupacabra as well, and the pie place. Hit Aldi before heading back home again, by Eastern Market.

Also none of the opinions have a shred of evidence to support them. Bancroft and Powell over Maury? Really? Have you even looked at any test scores?

And furthermore- ranking them makes NO SENSE!

Peabody is A part of the cluster school, which is Peabody, Watkins, and Stuart-Hobson. Strange how you knew Peabody only went until K, but couldn't figure out what the poster meant by Peabody.
