It's something, PP. If you are not happy, go ahead and badger your senators and congressmen to do more
It's that pesky "legacy" shit.
What would you have the congressmen do? Specific measures that would put a dent in random violence by criminals and crazies?
Off the top of my head?
No gun shows
No private sales
Domestic violence offenders not allowed to own a gun
Charges against any gun owners whose gun is used to commit a crime and accidental shootings are a crime
Personal liability insurance
Mandatory training/licensure
Revoke licenses for criminal history
Required storage rules
Always always always a background check
Always a long wait period
Fines and penalties for irresponsible ownership
High volume ammo sales refused and reported
Change requires compromise. What would you be willing to compromise on in order to pass some of your proposals?

Democrats will lose the presidential election, and the next Republic (obviously) president will cancel out this gross overreach.

Most Americans wanted improved regulations. He is listening to the people.
Not really. If "the people" wanted action, they would have pressured Congress to ENACT laws and Obama wouldn't have to go the executive action route.
