Neither of us travel a lot but I do miss him (quite a bit!) if either of us is away.
We have been married for 8 years and have two young children.

I disagree about the butterflies. I know what anxiety is (mild or otherwise), and there is a difference between anxiety butterflies and anticipation/excitement butterflies.

married 2, lived together/co-owned house for 6, together for 8.

We have been through a lot -- 3 miscarriages and some other things. But I still get goosebumps sometimes, and I miss him when he is away.

No, but I feel a sigh of relief when he walks through the door. We've been married 11 years and have a 8 and 3 year old. But yes I used to for the first 2 years.

Yup. It's not a starry-eyed first two months of the relationship reaction but I love when he walks in the door at night - or when I walk in the door if he's the one home. I look at him sometimes and am overwhelmed with my love for him. Of course we miss each other! 14 years, no kids.
