No. If you have kids and there is a divorce, it can create all kinds of nasty custody/jurisdictional problems if they decide to take the kids and go home to their home country.

I loved a man from Lebanon. Ultimately, the barrier was religion, not nationality. We are still friends and he married a lovely Lebanese woman.
