This is mothing new. Go back and do a historical comparison, you will find ib and blair magnet kids always had higher percentage of NMFS. Not just this year.

TJ has a higher percentage of kids as nmsf as well. TJ has about 36 % (163/450), Blair science magnet has about 33 %, RM IB has about 35%.

No. Ranked No. 1 by Newsweek 2 years in a row and TJ has the most NMSF of any high schools in the world!

Not nearly as embarrassing as the fact that the magnet programs at RM and Blair are just a few classrooms of Asian kids in two otherwise mediocre schools, while TJ is regularly identified as one of the top HS in the country.

That's fist factually correct thing you said. Given it is 5x bigger, I sure hope they produce more... But still lower percentage of overall size. No matter how you cut it, TJ is still third where it belongs.

For RMIB, they all are. For Blair, someone posted most are but not all.

TJ kids are from 5 different school districts, not just Fairfax.


Fairfax accounts for about 80 to 85% of the TJ students.
