So b/c hell is now "documented" twice in one ancient text, it's now real.
Even if someone claims to have been to hell and back (lol), there is no concrete proof this area exists.
I can't believe the BS on these threads. It's actually embarrassing to read through them!
A lot of people, especially in the Southern US, believe what the Bible says. They are taught to in church and even if they don't go to church regularly, they continue to believe. There are many unclear or confusing passages in the Bible that people argue about a lot, but that does not detract from the comfort that comes from choosing the parts that appeal to you and believing in them. Some people choose the parts that promise good things for themselves. Others also like the parts that promise bad things to people who don't believe the same way they do.
And others still...myself among them...choose to read the WHOLE thing for a better understanding knowing that picking and choosing isn't reality and that simply listening to those who pander to the ones who don't want the truth isn't going to accomplish anything real.

OP if you believe (as I do) that we are spiritual beings having an earthly experience, then you know that it really doesn't matter whether you mom recognized it while she was on this planet. Our lives here on earth are just tiny blips compared with our eternal spirit self.
She may not have felt spiritual in her body, but you know that she is spirit. And she knows it now. Your ability to communicate with her is not affected by her beliefs during her brief visit to earth in physical form.

Just because a person doesn't believe in hell, doesn't mean hell does not exist! The reverse is also true.
