No judgement here- but I have to say that the transformation confuses me. The outfit and look are totally sexually charged, but I can't figure out who the audience for Caitlyn is. Any insight would be appreciated.

10 hours of facial surgery. Can you imagine? Not to mention that her breasts look better than mine.

I do struggle, as a woman, to understand what it means to Caitlyn (and others who transition) to feel like a woman, esp. with all the talk of "girls' nights out" and just talking about clothes, fashion, makeup, etc. I think part of accepting people as they are should be attempting not to promote gender stereotypes that might not have anything to do with the experiences other people have in their bodies and lives.

Sorry but isn't she like 64 yrs old? That is all photo shop. This is why I hate these magazines. This is not her, it's a computer generated model as are most of these covers but this is even more over the top. At least with others we can recognize them. We have seen her wrinkles. She is unrecognizable in this photo. I'm upset because I don't think this is a true characterization of what she looks like. Not even close. I would like to see more pics that are not so heavily photo shopped.

I think it's normal that this makes you uncomfortable. However, I think the rest of your reaction is ignorant, hate-filled, and shows a complete lack of human empathy. So that part is less normal.

If you have kids, what would you say to a young adult child that came to you and said they feel like they are the opposite gender than the one they were born with? That their whole life they felt like they were the wrong gender. Picture yourself telling them that they are weird, slightly gross, not normal, and mentally ill.

I think she looks great -- but I think the teddy on the cover of vanity fair isn't age appropriate, whether transgender or not.
