If I go to bed with a guy I assume that he is not videotaping what we're doing without my knowledge and consent. I think that most people would agree that those assumptions are both quite reasonable.

This is depressing. I am a PP and the landscape of current 'dating' is just awful to me. Some people have personal respect and standards that don't involve pictures of private parts, or anything else very private. I don't know who breeds these people that cannot recognize/ respect privacy.

You can pretty much sue for anything. To actually prevail you would have to prove damages. Obviously, it would be much harder for you to prove damages from

Suppose Hot Howie only forwarded the pics to Beavis and Butthead and Dumb Dave who will just gawk at them and tell Howie to send more. Maybe Howie also showed a few mutual friends who also knew Suzie socially but had no business dealings with her at all. Suzie would be mortified to know that these people had been gawking at her, but beyond embarrassment/humiliation...what are her damages?

This can go back and forth with endless possibilities to whatever scenario you pitch. Maybe Suzie is now clinically depressed, and has hefty therapy bills not covered by insurance. She's so mortified she can't go to work, and loses her home.

So never mind that it's Suzie's personal responsibility for taking the picture in the first place and sending the picture to Howie. Once received it becomes Howie's responsibility to safeguard the pic and never let another sole see it.....? Maybe Howie is troubled that some chic sent him nudies of herself...

Trust me, I don't agree with what Howie did in sharing those pictures - it was a jerk move. But that doesn't mean that it was smart of Suzie to take those selfies and send them to another person like that.
