Me too! I wanted to be a pediatrician, but for so many reasons talked myself out of it. I envy the people that did it.
I'm 30 so I think that ship has sailed. I might go the NP route.

Not OP, but you don't just join the military. Everything is paid for but it's not really free and after all that you may not even get to practice the thing you actually wanted to do if you don't make it out.



True, the military isn't all that it is cracked up to be.

OP, why won't you consider joining the military and letting them pay for everything?


Not OP, but you don't just join the military. Everything is paid for but it's not really free and after all that you may not even get to practice the thing you actually wanted to do if you don't make it out.

OP, are you considering nursing? You could get patient contact hours that way if you decide to continue to PA school

She has a disability/congenital defect which would probably affect her eligibility.

What are you doing instead? Do you work in the healthcare field?


Not in healthcare. I am actually working as a nanny, and trying to figure out how to get out of that. I know I won' be a doctor, but nursing is still within goals.
