Franklin Delano Roosevelt had millions at a time when those millions would be billions now. He still spoke up for the 99.99% of Americans who needed help. Did you find that humorous too?
I find it humorous that she could have insisted on a much lesser salary and had the balance distributed amongst those who worked on the film. Speaking out seems to be what liberals do to make themselves seem more important and to make themselves feel better.
You are confusing the issue. Everyone making an equal wage regardless of the work performed is communism. No one is advocating that. Patricia Arquette, and other intelligent people, are advocating for equal pay for equal work. So if I am a female CEO, or attorney, or doctor, or engineer, or designer, or writer or actress - I should be paid equally to an equally qualified man. WTF do you not understand about this issue?
Don't you think, if this was as huge an issue as portrayed, American companies would only hire women to increase their profit margin? Given, y'know, how greedy they are and all
