Toast slices of good rustic bread. Cut avocado and either smash or slice. Spread/place avocado on top of bread. Sprinkle salt and pepper. (I sprinkle red pepper flakes, but it's optional). Drizzle olive oil.
Good for snacks and tastes so good!
I had something similar for breakfast in Sonoma. Add a layer of ricotta under the avocado, slice some boiled eggs on top grate some lemon zest on top, and then drizzle with good olive oil. Yum!
Ooh, that sounds good. But I may put a fried egg on mine...

A block of cream cheese spread in an 8x8 glass pan. Dump a jar of pizza sauce on top. Sprinkle with a thin layer of mozzarella cheese and throw it in the microwave until the cheeze melts. Serve with triscuits.
Yum.
this sounds awful!
I agree. Disgusting.

Marinara Sauce
Cook all day in a crockpot. Absolutely delicious.
Can serve alone or with rolls.
In a similar vein, frozen meatballs with 1 bottle heinz chili sauce and 1 jar grape or raspberry preserves (for some reason the raspberry seeds make people think it's some fancy recipe). Cook in crockpot and serve with cocktail toothpicks.

Have had this done with cream cheese, salsa, mexican cheese. Heat. Serve with tostitos.

okay, now we're just getting goofy.
Everybody I know who has a football related get together does this recipe. It isn't that good. The grape jelly makes it way too sweet. I think people rave over any food that is protein based.
