I wonder how done-up she is under the veil. I heard from a stylist who is Muslim (though not hijab-wearing) that they really pay attention to hair, makeup, skin.

I lived in the Middle East and I wondered if women felt super hot wearing one. I was super hot not wearing one but I didn't grow up in that kind of heat.

Everyone in this line of immigrants looks like they are bundled up against the cold. The women are wearing scarves and the men are wearing hats because it is cold , probably not for religious reasons.



I didn't say for religious reasons, but Eastern European women wore headscarves year round. It is a cultural thing.
