Republicans in Texas believe they are entitled to a jury if their peers, where peer is people who believe you are innocent.

Well, it's hard to tell from the conservative posts here. The first post on McDonnell was "Wapo hits a new low in journalism attacks on Govt. McDonald ".

I looked that up and it was an incoherent post and I didn't see anyone comparing the McDonnell situation to that of Perry.

At any rate, it's within the governor's authority to veto. Now if he had been paid off to veto then perhaps there'd be a problem.

But it's not within a governor's authority to accept bribes/"gifts" from someone while using his official position to push that someone's products.
