Young Michael Douglas could have married anyone (not literally, but approximately). Old MD not so much. Sure he married (note that he married - not merely had sex with) CZJ, but she has serious mental health issues and though beautiful was not the greatest catch. Certainly his range of choices narrowed considerably as he got older.

I am really surprised that something this obvious needs to be pointed out. Women do not like old men any more than they like fat men. Some women will suck it up for some (usually exceptional) men.
