I cook most of the time because I'm only working PT right now. So my husband cooks maybe once a week. Though usually if he is home to cook (so, not a weeknight) then we are cooking together.
When we both worked FT, he cooked more - maybe 60 me/40 him.
Neither of us cooks well despite lots of effort over the years. (And embarrassingly, my dad was a cook for many years, so it's not like I didn't have access to home cooked meals and someone to teach me!) Since neither of us likes doing something we do poorly, we both kind of hate it. But we know eating out too much is a terrible idea.
Anyway. Our general rule is that if one person cooks, the other cleans up. That helps a lot.
