Makes me crazy to hear "marriage is a big commitment" from these women. Oh, but having a child with this guy isn't?

+1. I think the same thing about buying a house together pre-marriage. Very common now, but just get married for crying out loud.

Does that create "discord" as well? Surely, you are just here to stir the pot. No one can be this stupid.

What's the benefit to immigration?

Legal immigrants-usually highly skilled/trained. Some make it clear they're only here for the jobs and have a general disdain for Americans. Rather than rely on these workers, why not focus on training those already in the US?

Illegal immigrants-....Don't get me started.

What are your positives for immigration?

Oh, i don't know. For me it was not getting shot and killed. What were your ancestors positives of immigration?

Before I answer your question, can you please tell me what tribe do you belong to? Cherokee? Sioux? Navajo?

Can I tell you something? When you are an inexperienced cook, even when you follow a recipe religiously, your food often flops.

Not.possible. Set timers, use measuring cups/spoons, etc.

Very.possible. You can't really be this dense, can you?

Yo can't really be that unable to follow step by step instructions, can you?

I am not the PP, and I can cook myself, but I can kind of see what he or she is saying. If you don't have even a basic understanding of what the terms mean, sometimes the directions can be confusing. The directions are written assuming a certain amount of shared basic cooking awareness. If you do not have even this, you may misinterpret something or misunderstand something. Example:

"Bone the chicken." A non-cook may think, "What? What does this mean? How does one do it?" Etc.

So you think those of us who cook were, what, born with the ability to bone a chicken? It's called learning. And, FYI, you can also buy boneless chicken.

There is no such thing as a non-cook. Just someone who doesn't want to to cook.

OH well, I tried. Seems like you -- just like the type of person you yourself are complaining about -- want to stick with your mindset and want to hold on to this as your pet peeve. Bye!

While you embrace your inability to read simple instructions. Enjoy Applebee's!

Almost too many problems with your response to get into, only the first of which was that I said I myself was a cook but I was trying to see their perspective. . .

Strengthens our country. Adds diversity and a global perspective. Bolsters the labor force.

Are you not descended from immigrants?

People relocate all the time for all sorts of reasons - new opportunities, family, simple enjoyment of the new place. Your assumption that anyone moving to the United States is doing it for the money and the money alone is incorrect.

If your response is typical of "Americans", I have a general disdain for them as well.
