Buy some sliced turkey breast at the deli. Put it on whole wheat/whole white wheat bread. Buy some peeled baby carrots and put that on the side. Give the kids a glass of milk.
If you can't even make a sandwich, rotiseree (sp?) chicken and grapes or carrots work just fine. My grocery store also has a variety of premade, precooked meat loafs, chicken breasts, sushi, and pork chops that can just be microwaved.

Try any of those if you want your kids to be morbidly obese. McDonald's doesn't even use what I consider to be real meat! Wendy's is a little better but still high in sodium etc. And taco bell? You're joking right? Disgusting. I agree with the PP maybe Subway or even Panera. Also, I agree with the rotisserie chickens. You don't even have to cook! just snag one of those then sautee some frozen veggies and done.

The fact is, we know what is in McDonald's. We can get the list of ingredients. But can you really say what is in an apple? I don't think even scientists know what is in half our fruit and vegetables, whereas McDonald's is made in factories under hygenic conditions.
In any case, with a part-time job, numerous social commitments, plus going to the gym to keep trim etc. I simply don't have time to "cook" what you would call "real food" from scratch.
Yes, my kids may be a little on the chunky side, but it is all paid for, and I have nothing to be ashamed of. Moreover, when the time comes they will be ready to fight and die for this country, unlike all the vegatarians, who are probably lining up to burn the flag.
Shame on you!

I think I love you.
The sanctimommies on this thread are hilarious!
Yeah...I would rather be laughed at than feeding my family crap. Especially after one of my close relatives got horrible health issues after eating fast food 2-4 times a week. A relative is now on a very strict and bland diet, and pays huge money to doctors to treat him and etc.
Ever heard of "moderation"?
