I cannot figure this picture posting thing out but this house is bad. Its RIGHT next to a shack. I don't believe that they would build this in the middle of the road like this. I work right across the street from this ugly thing.

My neighbor's house in Sumner in Bethesda will soon qualify. It's under construction so the hideous details are not yet complete. But it fills the yard, looks massive from all sides, literally darkens the house behind it, and is architecturally out of step with the neighborhood. People walk down the street behind it and point up at it (it's up on a hill so you can't miss it.). Oh and the front is unchanged so it's a colonial face with some kind of McMansion ass.

This is the oddest thread I have ever seen here. Most of these have no garage or a one or two car garage. HOW ON EARTH could that possible qualify as ANY kind of mansion? A lot of these are not mcmansions, they're just regular ugly houses (I'm looking at you 16:28 and 18:23!).

I don't know the house 16:28 posted, but it looks a lot more like an addition to a 50s rambler than a brand new build.
