Secondly, there is no evidence whatsoever that FDR had advanced warning that the attack was imminent. Japan was at war in Asia, they had aspirations for empire, they were xenophobic, and angry as hell at the U.S. for creating an oil embargo against them so the U.S. high command should have anticipated all possibilities including an attack on Pearl Harbor, but unfortunately the overwhelming sentiment in the U.S was to remain military isolationists.

There were many logistical and strategic reasons like geographic distant as well as the specific location and shallow depth of the harbor which made and attack on Pearl seem unlikely at that moment in time.

They FDR Administration may have been guilty of negligence because they were not prepared for every contingency, but they definitely were not guilty of treason.

How can anyone think it was her mom? A known sex offender (possibly child molester- can't remember) lived nearby and was seen around her house in weeks before. Also, Jon Benet had taser marks on her body. This sex offender was found to have a taser gun in his house. She was also sexually assaulted. She probably wet her bed b/c she was so frightened by this guy who came to steal her away from her bed.

Not the PP who said the system was ridiculous, but uh, it is. The prosecutor, Giuliano Mignini, is being investigated for prosecutorial misconduct during her trial and was investigated BEFORE her trial for misconduct. It's really not hard to Google and find this information, and it was widely reported during and after the trial how poorly the Italian justice system was handling things.

Uh oh. By that same standard, our system is ridiculous as hell. We have prosecutors investigated for misconduct all the damn time.

I'm not saying Knox did it. I'm not saying that the investigation was beyond reproach. But the immediate dismissal of foreign justice systems because we don't like their actions is the truly ridiculous thing, especially when you have a system as flawed as ours.

It is easy to otherize and dismiss those who are different than us. It is far more difficult, and virtuous, to actually take the time to understand.

On the Job Benet Ramsey case, women very rarely kill in a sadistic manner. If they kill their own children, it is typically quick and efficient or distant (Susan Smith). If she had that level of sadism/mental illness in her, it would have shown up in other things.

The police did a shitty job on that case and we will never know. I'd bet it was a sadistic pedophile.

I don't care about any of the murders, with the possible exception of JFK. But would love to know how the universe started, is there another dimension, are wormholes and time travel possible, was Jesus really the son of God (literally) and was he married, had children, would love to know what happens to ones consciousness after death, do ghosts really exist, and so many more of the great mysteries. Oh, and is Stonehenge really just a calendar?
