glad you have a schedule that works for you, but people are frustrated by your posts bc/ it's not helpful to the OP or the vast majority of commuters out there. Most people do not need to or want to get to work that early.

She's done it for so long, she's convinced herself this is normal. So she wakes up at 5 AM? The last time I saw 5 AM was in grad school when we would stay out all night... No, not normal. Normal people are fast asleep at 5 AM and at 6 AM unless they have a baby.

OP, I hear you. We had to make the same sacrifices, but finally sucked it up and moved closer "in" because the commute only became worse. You may have to come to that decision. It really was worth it. We have a yard and other things we did not have before, ironically. You are not alone. As PP said, we are all in the same boat. Don't let anyone tell you they have it perfect, because they are lying.
than keep your equally abnoxious (fill it in) about schools and small houses to yourself as well...
How ironic that you moved "closer in" whatever that means...

It shocks me how the "city" people think they are so (whatever - fill it in here), yet so smug about their choices, yet so closed minded about other people having fewer choices. Keep it to yourself really, we don't care.
OP, I hear you. We had to make the same sacrifices, but finally sucked it up and moved closer "in" because the commute only became worse. You may have to come to that decision. It really was worth it. We have a yard and other things we did not have before, ironically. You are not alone. As PP said, we are all in the same boat. Just mentioned it because some other poster had mentioned it and it sounded like it was a luxury item.
For us a garage is a must. I do not want to spend time in the winter mornings scraping ice. And all the other junk that you accumulate

OP could, but it likely wouldn't help, given the time she would lose cutting over from Rt. 5/301 to Rt. 4 (PA Ave. extended). I grew up in southern PG and commuted from there to Conn. & L for two years in the late 80's. It took more than an hour then, travelling at rush hour times. Now? Shudder to think.
