Add back the scores of the TJ students who live in the Langley and McLean districts to those schools, and the Woodlawn students who live in the Yorktown district back to Yorktown, and TJ, Langley and McLean still come out ahead.
And what's the deal with the National Merit Semifinalists? None were reported in the press for Woodlawn. Was Woodlawn overlooked, or did it have no NMSFs, or were they reported in the (lower) numbers for the other Arlington schools?
P.S. - I do know this is pointless, but some Arlington people are consistently full of crap, and at least this keeps them from crapping on TC Williams 24/7 like they do in every other thread.

I've lived in both Arlington and McLean and am much happier in McLean.
This became the predictable pissing contest when the Arlington poster claimed the "quality of life" there was better, rather than acknowledge that each has pros and cons.

The reality is that the DC suburbs don't compare to the suburbs in the old Northeast cities. Not in terms of looks anyway. Neither Arlington nor McLean are beautiful. But they have their attractive parts.
