Oh yeah, mrs k's now has a really cool wine bar in the basement, with nice stone walls and a great outdoor patio out back in the rose garden

Citronelle closed this summer, sadly.

Possibly a temporary closing, from the website: Dear Valued Guests,
Due to extensive water damage, The Latham Hotel & Michel Richard Citronelle
have closed as of Thursday July 12, 2012. The building will be evaluated
for the full extent of the repairs, but we are expecting that it may take
up to six months to complete the necessary improvements.
If you have questions about your current reservations, please call 202 625-2150,
and your call will be returned promptly.
Thank you

I went to Parkway Deli one morning to get a sandwich and I saw this big rat running in the store side. It was right before breakfast and I was so disgusted that I never went back again.

I agree on Tabard Inn. Also not in DC but still love to soend a leisurely fall day drinking and eating on the patio of the Old Angler in Potomac. Old school and the atmosphere makes me overlook some of the food sins
