We don't. We're mostly surrounded by other women. There's a serious dearth of males in general at my school. The ones who are there are either married or gay.
Which is such a shock, b/c when you decided to go into teaching, you thought it would be chock-full of potential husband-material-types?
It's not a shock at all. It's just annoying when one is horny.

As far as teetotalers go, yes, they bug me, but it wouldn't preclude me from being friends with them.
YOU are judgmental and close-minded.
And I hate to burst your bubble, but SaraH (not Sara) Palin is smarter than you.
Her accomplishments speak for themselves. Have you ever been governor of the largest state in America? Ran for president? Written a best-seller? And all the while, she doesn't exactly have it easy street with a special needs child and having a teenage daughter have a baby. She is amazing - even if you do not agree with her views, you should at least acknowledge that she is quite accomplished. AND beautiful.

They're boring.

Uh oh I do this a lot. Does it really annoy people? We just have that kind of repertoire in our relationship... We still are very close and love each other.
yes it really does annoy people. you say you are close and love each other, but you clearly don't like each other. leave the arguing at home.

Ahhh...because liberals are so compassionate and open-minded.
Better that your biases decide who you are friends with, rather than who gets shafted under the law.
