All of the convenient things we do like put it on your kitchen counter, separate cold stuff from warm, drive down your treacherous mile long dirt driveway in the snow we do for a tip. We don't make the same amount of money as ups drivers because we accept tips. Tips are about 40% of my annual pay. I never ask for tips and treat non tippers the same way I would any other customer. It gets a little annoying however when a customer wants you to pus the groceries away for them for no tip.
I absolutely agree with some of this. I am one of the former no tip posters - but that's for just the delivery to my door. If I let the driver bring the groceries into my house, into the kitchen, onto the counter, maybe even have him help me put stuff away I would tip OF COURSE. Anything else would just be rude. But for regular delivery to my doorstep I would not tip. Because that service is included in what I already paid for delivery.
