Why would anyone want to be able to see past it? Knowing if someone is a trump supporter is good information to have when you're making decisions about how to spend your valuable time and energy.
+ 1. DP. There is so much good art in the world - books, movies, music, theater, live comedy, to name just a few. Time and money are limited. I could not possibly consume it all in my life. And in 5 years, there will be more art and new artists. We have to make choices. Very few artists are of such a caliber that it is worth overlooking their questionable choices.
+1 Be sure to ask those artists about their voting records. Some people are secretive about their choices, and you don't want to view or hear someone who's made questionable choices.
Nobody cares if they keep their views private. Showing up for a cage fight for the pedo-in-chief’s birthday is something else entirely. The administration doesn’t even have the decency to condemn the comments about Michelle Obama. This whole event was nothing but trash.
PP here. I agree with your comments here, and nothing about fights appeals to me. I also think highly of Michelle Obama. I just happen to enjoy the work of a variety of artists, regardless of their voting choices.
I have no problem with the event taking place where and how it did and I'm also not surprised by Trump's lack of class and integrity in failing to immediately condemn the comment regarding Michelle Obama. Trump is a garbage human being with zero integrity and zero class. We all should be aware of this by now.
With all the things publicly said about Trump, with all the attacks, both legally and otherwise, I don’t blame him. Look inward.
So you don’t think the President of the United States is obligated to act with any class or civility. You don’t believe he should ever model graciousness or being the bigger person. Because people are soooo mean to our poor widdle pwesident.
We know, babe. You’re fragile as F and so is he.
The left isn’t acting with class or civility, including those in high places. What Obama set in motion against Trump and other Americans, along with the Clintons, was disgusting.
Okie sure. 99.99% of entertainers in this country are willing to be associated with the left and a fraction of 1% is willing to be associated with the right but the left is the problem.
Friends of Abe, anyone?

More MAGA projection. You people are so far gone, it would be sad, but the negative impacts of your delusions have become to dire to ignore. Get help. You nutjobs are destroying the country.

I agree with you that this is ridiculous. It is consistent with research that liberals are more likely to cut ties with people due to politics.

This guy is being canceled by the left for ATTENDING AN EVENT. Did he say something to offend? No. Did he do something to someone that was illegal or immoral? No.
This is crazy. Yet, the left is embracing a Senatorial candidate who wears a Nazi tattoo, has multiple allegations of abuse against women, and has written some insane antisemitic and racist posts on social media in the recent past. But, attending a UFC event at the WH sponsored by a political party and a president that you abhor is a bridge too far. Total insanity.

"I'm not interested in watching his work anymore" = "CANCELLED"?
Really?
So he is entitled to the eyes and money of people who aren't interested in his comedy because, why exactly?
