Hard work and finding study groups/partners helps a lot socially. Peers working on what you’re working on builds connections. There’s usually a first year science/engineering residential choice.

No need to worry about that being too small a world, bc as students find their way they branch out with clubs etc.

Professors are responsive if students go for office hours.

It's a senior military college. Way more chilled than VMI but of the same origins. If youre looking for military college I think its the best option if you want to also experience a school not 24/7 military.

Plenty of students have nothing to do with it though.
