It doesn't matter whether it's a MAGA debt or Dem debt. It will have to be paid.

The debt is not a MAGA debt. It's a debt due to our spending and not collecting enough to pay for it.

You can go ahead and have discussions with your friends regarding how to collect more.

The truth is this at the top echelon are the shot callers. Dems/Reps are just labels to make you think who you should blame at various points in time.

We will pay for this debt sooner or later.

Yep when Donny Boy baby is fully king in 2028 get ready for all your wages to go through him.

He is going to tax the hell out of this country and rape the US Treasury til it's zero. Why the hell do you think he is President? It's always been the money.

Love that people think they will get their Social Security monies with Repuke in charge.

We will be North Korea.

MAGA has no idea what they have done the stupids.

No one know the exact future but we can all tell the weather when storm clouds are coming

Have seen many dire predictions on DCUM. Have watched dollar rise and fall and rise and fall. Know that EU countries have moribund economies and plenty of their own political problems. Know China is a ruthless mercantilist dictatorship. Don't play these hysterical fear games on here just because you don't like the current WH incumbent.

The difference is that they actually are competent compared to the current WH resident and his lackeys who are intent on lining their pockets alone.

When even I start trusting what China says over what comes out of this White House (because MAGA will tell the most blatant lies which are easily searchable), you've got a problem

And the rest of the world actually get news reported to them. Not the slop you consume. They can SEE the U.S. has no clothes.

Exactly this. Most posts here are based on "I don't like Trump, so the sky is falling here and the grass is much greener in every other country". Past predictions of imminent societal and economic collapse in the U.S. because the Democrats lost the last election have proven more than slightly overblown.

Try again MATH DOES NOT LIE!

Trump has not only risen the National Debt $3 Trillion in 12 months the most of any President ever he's an idiot. Since when does Trump understand numbers besides what is going in his piggy bank? The man is literally suing taxpayers for $10 Billion we pay that you fool. Not to mention DOGE monies disaster!! All his demolitions, all his removal of pride signs and AA heritage and heros that costs taxpayers monies.

You have to be a complete and utter idiot to think that trump is not costing taxpayer billions and not lining his own pockets while doing so. Again math does not lie.

What do you not understand about the recession we are in and how it will lead to a great depression?

How do you not understand Project 2025's goals or The Heritage Foundations or Theils? None of this is rocket science it is math and economics which clearly you have never passed in school.

This whole tariff thing is proof that the Trump White House is incompetent when it comes to the economy.

Looks like they used ChstGPT to create a tariff plan.

It will be subject to intense political debt, but we have no choice.

And I say this as a conservative. I honestly don't think the average American understand how much debt we have and that at some point it will have to be repaid.

It's going to be ugly because we are aging as a population and soon births will likely come to a halt.

Cutting promised entitlement such as social security and Medicare have proven to be impossible.

It has ballooned massively under W and trump, who together, are responsible for 70% of the total US debt. And the rate of increase is rising under this administration.

It has been left to the Dems, time and time again, to be the responsible party where the budget is concerned, but that has resulted in the gaslighting "tax and spend" from the right.

Checks and balances never collapsed before

A photo of a sitting U.S. President and Putin never hung in the White House

The independence of the Fed Chair was never attacked by a sitting President

A loosely regulated extremely undertrained masked paramilitary group with a budget larger then some nations armies never wandered the streets of the US before answer to no one but a few individuals

I could go on and on and on but we all are on this earth but just a limited time

"Unprecedented" is not in your vocabulary is it? "American exceptionalism" is is myth i found out. I've begun to understand history better. I always wondered what the average German was thinking during the Hitler years.

Last year we were driving and my 12 years old son told me out of nowhere that the country had XYZ debt. I asked him how he knew about it. He said he found a clock online and found it really cool. But what was more impressive was that he knew what that debt actually meant and he had a concerned look.
