Does 'no mention' mean we're on the original timeline? Or are we still waiting for a decision about evening activities?
That would be my guess, considering they aren’t even using school facilities.

I think another district is trying to do the same but FCPS says they cannot guarantee activities in Saturday due to weather. But that sounds like they will allow activities at least for Friday night. I would rather a one day meet and get it done then take the risk.

It really wouldn’t be “squeezing” since regionals aren’t until the following Friday (February 13).
With a chance of having the same issue - Forecast - “ Snow, sleet, and freezing rain in the morning; cloudy with a little rain in the afternoon”
Why does dive always get the Friday morning schedule- why don’t they alternate every year with swim?

Anonymous wrote:The decision isn’t up to the coaches at all. They are waiting just as we all are. The decision is made by the rec centers and athletic directors.

The bigger problem is finding the 40+ qualified volunteers that it takes to run a successful meet. It’s a shame for the swimmers.
Especially when they didn’t give parents time to put in scheduled leave before leaving work today
