that's not how we do things in the south y'all! dangle carrots, talk a good game, hold id sessions but there is no pathway to the top team. kids that start on NL at u13 stay even if they can't play at that level 2 years later. the nl and rl teams are very unbalanced. parents look for options, just other 2nd tier teams in the area so kids quit. don't get on parents for going to nova, there's no other option.
Need a MLSN club in RVA. FC Richmond ain’t it.

Who cares! ECNL was a great idea they lost the plot. Now it is only about one thing. MONEY! Of course, they will continue to add teams. The league's "creator" was happy to discuss the "business" in his own words during his annual meeting, glorifying himself. Literally one of the most sleezy individuals, and ECNL is just another youth soccer scam. Great idea, but greed won in the end.

They're currently leading 3 of the 6 RL age divisions and across the 6, only Richmond Blue's current average in the standings (average 2nd vs average 2.83) is better. If ECNL is going to add another team AND it's not Richmond Blue, this would not be particularly surprising.
Also they're from a new area. Nothing else between Richmond and Beach. Richmond can't support two NL teams.

They're currently leading 3 of the 6 RL age divisions and across the 6, only Richmond Blue's current average in the standings (average 2nd vs average 2.83) is better. If ECNL is going to add another team AND it's not Richmond Blue, this would not be particularly surprising.
